The principle of continuous inkjet printing is that the ink must dry quickly. Longer pauses in production often lead to drying of the ink and blockage of the nozzles in competing CIJ printers. The operator must then clean the nozzle, which creates downtime in production.
Not with the IQJET printer. When the printer is not in use, the IQPRINT system automatically seals the entire ink system in which the ink circulates, making it airtight. This prevents the ink from drying out and the typical clogging that would otherwise occur. After switching on, the IQJET immediately returns to work without the need for cleaning and flushing the nozzle.
To ensure consistently high print quality regardless of the ambient conditions, IQPRINT continuously regulates the temperature and viscosity of the ink.
